If you have ever considered language solutions providers all around America, one of the names you are most likely to come across is Liz Elting. Born Elizabeth Elting, she is known as one of the co-CEOs and co-founders of the Language solutions providers known as Trans-Perfect. Elting’s professional career begun immediately after her graduation at Trinity College, in 1987, after which she was recorded to have held major positions. These include an intern in the finance department of a cement company in Carcass, as well as a New York City Language Service Company.
It is noteworthy that Elting holds a degree in language and literature major, which leaves very little surprise as to why she founded the Trans Perfect years later. Finding Trans Perfect had been at New York University where she proceeded to obtain her Master of Business Administration in this university. There, she met with Phil Shawe, whom she started dating and whom she founded Trans Perfect alongside with. This company became a huge success to say the list, as it numbers five thousand staff strength across the world and presence in ninety cities across the entire world. Trans Perfect has metamorphosed over the years into a multi-million dollar company.
All of these are hardly the reason you may know Elting to be quite controversial. In the year 2018, Elting was bought out the company she had co-founded by none other than her co-founder, Phil Shawe. However, this singular reality does not move the company from being the world’s largest language service provider that is privately owned. Neither does it remove Liz Elting from the list of Forbes for most successful self-made women.
