When traveling to Japan you consider the basics. It is a holiday destination with many sites to visit. Plan for at least two weeks and carry what is necessary.

For a two-week trip carry a reserve SIM card and footwear for the occasion. Carry portable WIFI, right clothes, and the Japan Rail Pass.

The clothes may include a pair of pants, at least three t-shirts, 3-button up shirts, 4-pairs of socks and 4-underwears. Carry a sweater and a jacket during winter and comfortable walking shoes.

Don’t forget the power-bank and an adapter. You may need to download any apps that will be useful in your vacation.

To be safe carry cash and enough cash. The big cities allow the use of visa and credit cards. ATMs too are available with English options when withdrawing.
