The pros and cons of starting a business while doing job

There are many people who do jobs as well as run their own business whether it’s small or big. The purpose of doing these two things together is that some people love to experience being an entrepreneur and some love to be the boss. There are some people who think that what they learned from their job they are going to run a more efficient business. Some people have faith in themselves that they leave their current jobs in order to fulfill their dream of starting a new business on their own. Most people never leave their current jobs while doing their own business because they feel that they have a secure income coming by every month. On the other hand some people think it is scary to run a business while doing a full time job because a business whether it’s new or old wants full time attention and there are many accounting content that are to be handled. Here are some advantages and disadvantages of starting your own business while doing a full-timejob.

 

Advantages:

·         The first advantage is that some people don’t leave their current job because you don’t know whether your business is successful or not. So, after a failure you wouldn’t go back to search for a new job if you already have one. While doing business with a job is a way of feeling secure.

·         The other reason for keeping your job while running a business is that you want financial security to back you up. If you have savings, you will invest this money in your business.

·         The great thing of doing both things together is that if you fail to run your business you won’t have to suffer from losing your current job and business. You wait to see if it takes off then you decide on quitting the job with more security than ever.

 

Disadvantages:

·         If you are doing a job you have to complete your office hours. But if you run a business as well it’s not possible for you to complete the hours because a new business wants time which is not possible.

·         When you are only doing a full-time job then you have the option of taking vacations and going for fun. But if you plan to run a new business you will have to do it in your reduced free time from your job.

·         If you are running your own business so you are being your own boss and that is a fun part. On the other hand, in your full-time job it’s not possible because you have office hours and you have to report back to your boss all the time. This is the main reason that you are not quitting your job and devoting yourself to your new business.
