Medigap Vs. Medicare Advantage plan

Medicare Advantage plans have a lower premium than AARP Medicare Supplement plans or Medigap. Medigap expenses do increase with the age of the patient. But it covers fewer expenses than that of Medigap. There is more out-of-pocket expenditure hence may lead to greater expenses overall. Before choosing one between these two, one must keep one's lifestyle and health condition in perspective. One can only switch from Medicare Supplement plans to Medicare advantage plan and not vice versa.
