Hebron glass characteristics


Just as the name suggests, Hebron Glass is a type of glass made in Hebron. And since the antiquated days, this type of glass was common and preferred by many. Its popularity even grew with the city of Hebron known for its love for antiques and gifts that drew tourists from different parts of the world.
So many families in Hebron’s source of income was derived from the manufacture of the different types of Hebron glass products, even up to date. And many families have passed that tradition and economic activity to the incoming generations. 
So how is Hebrob Glass manufactured? The process of manufacturing this glass passes through several stages. The first stage starts with the collection of glass products that will be thereafter be placed in a high-temperature oven.
After the glass has completely melted, it will be placed in a glass with a lower temperature. The hand blown glass will cool and molded into different types of glasses when needed. Colored dyes are added to the pieces to come up with completely Hebron glass types of preferred colors. The hirbawikufiyacraftsman making the Hebron glass will use different tools, and the most common one is scissors, iron pipe, and more. Some of the tools will also be used for decorative drawings on the Hebron pieces. And in most cases, these drawings are made to depict certain folk dances, customs, traditions, and more. Drilling as well is done on the glasses. Drilling is done by pouring the acid into the dropper over the gloves.
